Open Question: what is the best way to lose 10 pounds in a week or more?

Open Question: need help with weight issues?
I am categorically classed as overweight, BMI is 28.5. I am 21, 5ft2 amd 11 and a half stone. Tried dieting it doesn't work. Not interested in any online pills, can anyone help and maybe give me a solution they tried that worked. I find it hard toe exercise as I have a young child so cant go to gym etc.
Open Question: Anyone experienced weight gain when STOPPING birth control?
I have been on Yasmin (then the generic when it became available) for the past 5 years. I had no problem with weight, in fact that was a time in my life when I had met my now husband and that’s why I got on the pill and decided to lose weight. I have lost 100 pounds and kept it off for 3 years – through diet and exercise. In November I went off the pill. We’re not “trying” to conceive. If we do, we do, if we don’t we don’t. Since being off though, my weight has been creeping up slowy. I can assure you, no change in diet or exercise routines. With me keeping my same weight for the past 3 years I don’t believe I’m doing anything wrong. I’m just wondering if my hormones could be out-of-whack from stopping the pills?? Anyone heard of that? I’ve also had blood work done, all number, including thyroid was fine. Any ideas?
